Maligno Industriarredamenti signed the design for the new Marcos shoe store in via Sant'Agostino, in Mondovì. The Marini family, owners of the same named clothing store, in fact, has opened a new space: 100 square meters in the most elegant part of the Mondovì region, entirely dedicated to shoes and to quality accessories from important Italian brands. The project was entirely inspired by the desire to create a space marked by an ethereal lightness, limiting the intrusion of the structure to a minimum and thus leaving the products on display the possibility to "shine".

As in a museum display with elegant, simple, linear contours, the space is divided to accent the suspended effect - totally different from a mass display - in which the initial visual impact communicates the exclusivity of the product. An effect mostly achieved through a technologically refined woodworking technique, which makes it possible to obtain very thin shelves, about 5 mm thick. The skilled use of materials redesigns the boutique in a modern and exquisite key. This is especially seen in the use of "panga panga" wood for the shelving: a dark, very valuable wood which lends the walls a particular, exotic sophistication. The insertion of cut glass and lacquered elements into the wall showcases further demonstrates a very modern intention in the design, in which the tendency towards minimalism does not translate into a "cold" look, especially thanks to the skilled use of lights. In fact, lighting is a fundamental element of the project.

The use of backlighting accents the suspended effect, as does the shiny steel on the shelves, treated to have bodywork effect to stress the softness of the material and create a more reflective structure which emphasizes the lightness and luminosity of the décor. The floors, created with a resin treatment, and the wall covered with a fabric effect wallpaper to accent the "poly-sensual" character of the project, complete the picture for a design in which details are important for enhancing the value and exclusivity of the product. The Piedmont company has again demonstrated its know-how in interpreting the cabinetmaker's artistry, skilfully blending the new technologies with a taste for the detail typical of the great craftsman's tradition. This is the philosophy, fruit of sixty years of experience, which has made this brand name great.
